What is Runway?
Runway is the length of time a company can keep operating before it exhausts its available cash, assuming spending continues at the current rate. It is calculated by dividing current cash reserves by the net monthly burn rate, giving a number of months. Runway tells founders how much time they have to reach profitability or secure new funding.
