7BusyBoss (“we”, “us”) operates 7busyboss.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the controls you have.
1. What we collect
- Account data — we use Google Sign-In for all accounts. When you sign in we receive your email, name and Google account ID from Google. We never see or store your Google password.
- Activity — tools you build with the AI generator, posts and comments you make in the community, upvotes/downvotes. Tied to your account if logged in; otherwise to an anonymous cookie identifier.
- IP addresses — collected on community posts/comments/votes for spam protection and rate limiting. Stored alongside the content.
- Anonymous tool usage counts— for each tool we count how many visits opened it, tried it, and produced a result, plus a rough error count, so we know which tools work and which need fixing. That is the entire payload: the tool's name and one of those four words. We never record the files you pick, their names, their sizes, or anything you type into a tool. A random id in your browser's local storage lets us count a returning visitor once instead of twice; it is not linked to your account and holds nothing about you. Alongside those counts we record your country (from the same edge signal that already picks your currency — we never store your IP for this) and the hour of day on your own clock, so we can see which countries a tool serves and when people use it. Country only, never city or any finer location. We honour your browser's Do Not Track setting, and tools embedded on other websites are never counted.
- Cookies and local storage — see Section 4.
- Payout details — UPI ID or email, only if you choose to receive creator earnings.
2. What we do not collect
- No ad network ever sees what you put into a tool. Ads are served by Google AdSense in a small number of fixed slots on tool pages; the tools themselves run in your browser and their inputs are never shared with Google or anyone else. See Section 4a.
- No profiling by us, and no selling of data — ever. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic only, never to build a profile of you. Google may personalise the ads it shows based on its own data; Section 4a explains how to switch that off.
- Nothing about the contents of your files. Our usage counts record that a tool produced a result, never what it produced.
- No fingerprinting beyond what your browser sends with every request.
- Free tool calculators run entirely in your browser — the data you enter into them never leaves your device.
3. How we use it
- To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- To attribute the tools, posts and earnings you create.
- To prevent spam, abuse and brute-force login attempts (rate limiting by IP and by account).
- To send transactional email — tool approval, upgrade approval, payout updates. Sent via Resend.
- To show you content (notifications, dashboard) relevant to your account.
We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share it with third parties except as required to run the service (see Section 7).
4. Cookies and local storage
We use a minimal set of strictly-necessary storage:
- Session cookie (HTTP-only, secure) — keeps you logged in. Expires 30 days after last activity.
- Anonymous creator cookie — lets us attribute AI-generated tools to you before you sign up. You can clear it any time.
- Theme preference (localStorage, not a cookie) — remembers your light/dark choice.
- Anonymous visitor id (localStorage, not a cookie) — a random string so a returning visitor counts once rather than twice in our tool usage totals. Contains nothing about you and is never joined to your account. Clearing site data removes it.
- Trading Journal data (localStorage, optional tool) — stored only on your device. We never receive it.
- Advertising and analytics cookies — set by Google (AdSense and Google Analytics), not by us. These are not strictly necessary. See Section 4a.
Strictly-necessary cookies don't require explicit consent under GDPR/ePrivacy, and we surface a one-time notice for them so you know what is stored. Advertising and analytics cookies are different: if you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Google's certified consent banner asks your permission before those are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the link in that banner.
4a. Advertising
We show ads from Google AdSense on tool pages — one slot on mobile, two on desktop. They pay for keeping every tool free. They are never placed above a tool, never pop up, never cover the page, and never interrupt a result.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- Ads never appear on our embeddable widgets. If you put a 7BusyBoss tool on your own site, your visitors see no advertising from us at all.
- Ads never appear on tools built by users with the AI generator, and never on a tool that is not yet published.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: as long as your account exists. Delete your account in Settings to remove it.
- Community posts and comments: persist publicly until you delete them or we hide them for moderation.
- IP addresses on community content: 12 months, then nulled.
- Rate-limit logs in Upstash Redis: 24 hours (TTL).
6. Your rights
You can:
- Access — view all data tied to your account in /dashboard.
- Correct — edit your name, email and payout details in Settings.
- Delete — delete your account and everything tied to it from Settings.
- Export — email us at support@7busyboss.com for a JSON dump.
- Object — email us if you disagree with how we process your data.
For EU/UK residents: we rely on legitimate-interest and contract as the legal basis for processing. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
7. Service providers we use
- Vercel — hosting + edge network + analytics.
- Neon — Postgres database.
- Upstash — Redis for rate limiting.
- Resend — transactional email.
- OpenRouter — routes requests to AI providers (NVIDIA, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI etc.) when you use AI tools. Your tool inputs are sent to whichever model you select; outputs come back to your browser.
- Google — OAuth, if you sign in with Google.
- Google AdSense — serves the ads on tool pages. See Section 4a.
8. Children
7BusyBoss is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Contact us if you believe we have, and we'll delete it.
9. Changes
If we materially change this policy we'll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, email account holders.
