7BusyBoss (“we”, “us”) operates 7busyboss.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the controls you have.
1. What we collect
- Account data — we use Google Sign-In for all accounts. When you sign in we receive your email, name and Google account ID from Google. We never see or store your Google password.
- Activity — tools you build with the AI generator, posts and comments you make in the community, upvotes/downvotes. Tied to your account if logged in; otherwise to an anonymous cookie identifier.
- IP addresses — collected on community posts/comments/votes for spam protection and rate limiting. Stored alongside the content.
- Cookies and local storage — see Section 4.
- Payout details — UPI ID or email, only if you choose to receive creator earnings.
2. What we do not collect
- No third-party advertising trackers.
- No Google Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics which is cookie-less.
- No fingerprinting beyond what your browser sends with every request.
- Free tool calculators run entirely in your browser — the data you enter into them never leaves your device.
3. How we use it
- To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- To attribute the tools, posts and earnings you create.
- To prevent spam, abuse and brute-force login attempts (rate limiting by IP and by account).
- To send transactional email — tool approval, upgrade approval, payout updates. Sent via Resend.
- To show you content (notifications, dashboard) relevant to your account.
We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share it with third parties except as required to run the service (see Section 7).
4. Cookies and local storage
We use a minimal set of strictly-necessary storage:
- Session cookie (HTTP-only, secure) — keeps you logged in. Expires 30 days after last activity.
- Anonymous creator cookie — lets us attribute AI-generated tools to you before you sign up. You can clear it any time.
- Theme preference (localStorage, not a cookie) — remembers your light/dark choice.
- Trading Journal data (localStorage, optional tool) — stored only on your device. We never receive it.
We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking. Under GDPR/ePrivacy, strictly-necessary cookies don't require explicit consent, but we surface a one-time notice in case you'd like to know what's stored.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: as long as your account exists. Delete your account in Settings to remove it.
- Community posts and comments: persist publicly until you delete them or we hide them for moderation.
- IP addresses on community content: 12 months, then nulled.
- Rate-limit logs in Upstash Redis: 24 hours (TTL).
6. Your rights
You can:
- Access — view all data tied to your account in /dashboard.
- Correct — edit your name, email and payout details in Settings.
- Delete — delete your account and everything tied to it from Settings.
- Export — email us at support@7busyboss.com for a JSON dump.
- Object — email us if you disagree with how we process your data.
For EU/UK residents: we rely on legitimate-interest and contract as the legal basis for processing. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
7. Service providers we use
- Vercel — hosting + edge network + analytics.
- Neon — Postgres database.
- Upstash — Redis for rate limiting.
- Resend — transactional email.
- OpenRouter — routes requests to AI providers (NVIDIA, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI etc.) when you use AI tools. Your tool inputs are sent to whichever model you select; outputs come back to your browser.
- Google — OAuth, if you sign in with Google.
8. Children
7BusyBoss is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Contact us if you believe we have, and we'll delete it.
9. Changes
If we materially change this policy we'll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, email account holders.
