Error state copy
Designs error-state UI text — title, body, recovery action — for common app errors.
Network errors, validation errors, permissions errors. Each gets a human voice.
The prompt
Copy this into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any assistant you already use — then paste your own error types to design copy for underneath it.
For each error type, write:
**Title** (≤ 7 words)
**Body** (≤ 30 words, plain English)
**Primary recovery action** (button)
**Secondary** (optional — "Try later", "Get help")
Use a friendly-but-direct tone.
Rules:
- No "Something went wrong" by itself — always say what.
- No tech terms ("500", "null", "exception") to end users.
- Recovery action must be specific.Example input
