About this tool

One image, every aspect ratio

Instagram wants square. X wants 16:9. LinkedIn wants 1.91:1. YouTube thumbnails are 1280×720. Pick the preset and your image is resized to fit. Optionally lock the aspect ratio and type custom dimensions.

Fit modes

  • Contain — letterbox the image so the whole thing fits. Pick a background colour.
  • Cover — fill the canvas, crop the edges that overflow.
  • Stretch — squash the image to fit exactly (rarely what you want).
