The date changes before the time does
You are scheduling a meeting at 9 AM Tuesday in New York. Your Tokyo team member is checking their calendar. It is not Tuesday morning there — it is already Tuesday night, and a couple of hours later it becomes Wednesday. A naive hour-and-minute comparison breaks in these gaps: the thing that shifts is the date, and no hour-offset calculator flags it. When it is 9 AM Tuesday in New York it is 10 PM Tuesday in Tokyo; a meeting moved two hours later lands on someone's Wednesday.
This tool shows 23 cities and their dates simultaneously
Add Tokyo, London, New York, Sydney, or any of the 19 other supported zones and the clock ticks every second, displaying the full date — weekday, month, and day — for each. You can see at a glance that Tuesday in New York is Wednesday in Tokyo. The grid pins your browser timezone at the top and marks it YOU so you do not lose your reference point.

The tool starts with your local timezone plus five others, drawn from cities spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Click a city to add it; an × button removes any zone except your own. Your selection changes as you click but does not persist across page reloads, so this is a live view rather than a saved workspace.
What stays out of scope
This tool does not show working hours, does not highlight weekend and weekday splits across zones, and does not tell you when a meeting is actually feasible for everyone. Use it to check what time and date it is right now in each city, and whether a decision made at noon your time lands in someone's morning or their next day. Common questions about the World Clock.
Can I save my selection of cities?
Not in this version. When you add or remove cities the selection changes for the current session but is not written to your browser storage. Refresh the page and you will see the default six zones again, starting from your detected local timezone.
How often does the clock update?
Every second. The tool refreshes the time and date for all zones on a one-second interval, so you always see the current moment rather than the time the page happened to load. That makes it safe to leave open during live coordination.
What zones are available?
23 cities spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific — including Los Angeles, New York, São Paulo, London, Berlin, Lagos, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Auckland. If your exact city is not listed, pick the nearest major city that shares your timezone.
Will the tool show me when someone is in a different date?
Yes. Each zone displays its full date — weekday, month and day — not just the time. You can see at once that it is Tuesday in New York but Wednesday in Tokyo, which is the discontinuity that breaks most cross-timezone scheduling.
